The Universe of the Four Gods ~ ep. 1-4
The Universe of the Four Gods is an enchantment, a book, a mystical world, and the story of the reader of the book, who is trapped by the enchantement within the mystical world, until the story reaches its conclusion. Confused? Not half as confused as poor Miaka, a Tokyo girl, who reads the book and then finds herself being saved from lecherous bandits by a gorgeous hero, becomeing the high priestess of a bird, and befriending an Emperor - just so she can go home!
Miaka's Lesson - You can find true love in the Konan Empire, but no fast food.
Trials of the Heart ~ ep. 5-7
Trapped in a mirror! The Creator of the Universe of the Four Gods, Taiitsukun, chooses to test Miaka to watch as an evil version of himself attacks her friends! Miaka must figure out a way to help her Celestial Warriors without being able to leave the mirror; if Miaka fails this test, unlike her entrance exams for school, the people she cares about will die!
Miaka's Lesson - Love triangles involving Emperors can be quite awkward...
Seperation ~ ep. 8-10
Miaka goes home! But where is Yui? Realizing that Yui has entered the book, and longing for Tamahome, Miaka returns to Konan only to discover that the rival Kutou empire has attacked, and is also looking for the Priestess of their god - Seiryu (The Blue Dragon). Miaka travels to Kutou looking for Yui, but is confronted by one of Seiryu's really powerful Celestial Warriors!
Miaka's Lesson - Tamahome can back down a tiger, but turns to putty in Miaka's hands...
Priestess of Seiryuu ~ ep. 11-13
Miaka is finally reunited with Yui. Or is she? This adventure is far from over as Miaka’s best friend turns up as the Priestess of Seiryu, the enemy of the Konan Empire! Now war threatens the land and only by summoning the diety known as Suzaku can Miaka hope to save Konan. But can she really fight against her best friend? The same friend that has stolen Miaka’s one true love, Tamahome, and plots to destroy all of Miaka’s dreams?

The Dying Land ~ ep. 14-16
Will Miaka ever catch a break!? Miaka locates two more Celestial Warriors, but one doesn't want to help, and the other is dead! As if the zombies, bandits, and Kutou spies weren't bad enough, when Miaka travels to a remote village looking for a physician who can raise the dead Celestial Warrior, she catches a deadly plague and finds a demon instead!
Miaka's Lesson - When bandits attack, wolves make better weapons than Chocolate Cake...
Dark Reunion ~ ep. 17-19
Love Trap! Miaka finally locates the last Celestial Warrior and plans to invade Kutou to rescue Tamahome. However, Yui, discovers Miaka’s plans and plots with the evil Nakago to seduce Tamahome forever - body and soul! Can Miaka ever regain her friendship with Yui after such a betrayal? Will Tamahome be able to resist?!
Miaka's Lesson - Jealousy leaves the room for friendship or compassion.
Goodbye Tamahome ~ ep. 20-22
Miaka’s broken arm hurts much less than her broken heart when Tamahome seems to try and kill her! Her dreams shattered, Miaka desperately hopes that her love will bring back Tamahome’s memory but time is running out! Nakago’s power cancels out the Suzaku Seven’s power, and even Chichiri’s magic is not strong enough to let them escape!
Summoning Suzaku ~ ep. 23-265
The time has come for Miaka to summon Suzaku! She desperately wants to wish for Tamahome to be with her forever, but after protecting the kingdom and restoring her friendship with Yui, there will be no wishes left for the rest of the Suzaku Seven. Meanwhile, Nakago assures Yui that Miaka will never summon Suzaku...
Miaka's Lesson - Sometimes the end of a journey is only the beginning...
Seiryu Seven ~ ep. 27-30
Tragedy strikes at the heart of Miaka and the Suzaku Seven, but instead of crushing Miaka's spirit, the grief forges Miaka's resolution to summon Suzaku and put an end to misery. Without any mention of the tragedy, or the Seiryu Seven's involvement, Nakago convinces Yui to attempt a similar quest, forcing the two former friends into a very deadly race for the Shinzaho of Genbu!
Yui's Lesson - Never let Suboshi play with kids.
Nuriko... ~ ep. 31-33
Conflict and turmoil mark the dangerous journey to retrieve the Shinzaho of Genbu, but the Suzaku Seven still find the time to learn more about each other during their struggles. Nuriko makes startling revelations and resolutions that clarify his motivations and orientations. However, the dark mission of the Seiryu Seven will soon take its toll on Miaka and her friends, leading to a tragic clash that will change the Suzaku Seven forever!
Quest for Shinzaho ~ ep. 33-36
Illusion and doubt plague the recovery efforts for the Shinzaho of Genbu, and Nakago's plots begin to ensnare the Suzaku Seven both physically and emotionally! When Miaka infiltrates the Seriyuu camp, she will discover both the truth and painful lies, but will she be able to face Tamahome again?
Illusions of Love ~ ep. 37-39
Tomo, one of the Seiryuu Seven, uses his illusions to ensnare and seduce Miyaka and the Suzaku Seven. However, the unshakable devotion of Miaka and Tamahome combines with the surprise assistance of an old enemy to thwart Tomo's ambitions - at least temporarily.
Yui's lesson - The most powerful lie is the one you tell yourself.
Ties that Bind ~ ep. 40-42
Miaka challenges Nakago’s plots with the help of the Seiryu Seven?! However, what Tamahome learns from one of the Byakko Seven will once again cause strife in his relationship with Miaka. Hearts and friends in conflict again!
Yui’s Lesson - You won’t find happiness in a shell game...
Summoning Seiryu ~ ep. 43-45
Have the sacrifices of the Suzaku Seven been for nothing? Yui and Nakago set the stage for yet another betrayal of Miaka and the Seiryu's summoning, and if Miaka and the remaining Celestial Warriors can not stop the ceremony, the future of the Konan Empire is in grave jeopardy!
Yui's Lesson - Mind games are for the wise, the wicked, and the dead.
Fading Light ~ ep. 46-48
Despite extreme odds, the Konan forces refuse to give in to Nakago’s armies. Unfortunately, even extreme sacrifices only provide a temporary relief. Meanwhile, Yui, Miaka, and Tamahome are back in Tokyo, where their separation from the conflict only forces Tamahome to face the truth - he’s a fictional character in a book!
Yui's Lesson - You can never run away from a problem of your own creation.
The Last Page Turned ~ ep. 50-?
The final conflict between Nakago and Tamahome - on the streets of Tokyo?! Even without Suzaku’s power, Tamahome will fight Nakago to the death to protect Miaka. Will Miaka be able to save both her love and her cherished fast food restaurants or will Nakago becomes a god of destruction?
